At arcgrips, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase of our summer women’s clothing. We understand that summer style is personal — and sometimes a piece may not fit perfectly, match your expectations, or suit your occasion — which is why we offer a flexible, customer-friendly return policy tailored specifically to summer clothing (e.g., sundresses, swimwear, lightweight tops) and their unique needs. Please read the following terms carefully before initiating a return, as our summer clothing may have specific return requirements due to fabric type, fit, and hygiene standards.

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of the original delivery date (not the purchase date). Items returned after 30 days will not be eligible for a refund or exchange, unless otherwise specified in our Special Summer Return Policy (see Section 2).
  • Items must be in their original, unused, and undamaged condition, with all original packaging (e.g., garment bags, tags, size labels, and accessories like belts or hair ties) intact. This includes: no signs of wear, no stains, no odors, no alterations (e.g., hemming, taking in seams), and no damage to the fabric or stitching. For swimwear and intimate summer clothing (e.g., bralettes), the product must be unopened and sealed, or if opened, the hygiene liner must remain intact (in compliance with health and safety regulations). For lightweight fabrics like linen or cotton, minor wrinkles from shipping are normal and do not constitute damage.
  • Clearance items, final sale items (marked “Final Sale” on the product page), personalized items (e.g., custom monogrammed sundresses), and swimwear with the hygiene liner removed are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless they are defective (see Section 5 for defective item guidelines).
  • Items that have been damaged due to misuse, neglect, improper care (e.g., machine washing delicate fabrics that require hand washing), or accidental damage are not eligible for return or refund. This also includes items that have been worn in a way that violates the product’s intended use (e.g., wearing a swimsuit as regular clothing for extended periods, causing fabric damage).
  • Defective items (e.g., manufacturing defects, loose stitching, broken zippers, missing buttons, or fabric tears that occurred during production) are exempt from the “unused” requirement but must be returned with all original components for inspection. Defects do not include minor variations in color, size, or design — these are normal for mass-produced summer clothing and do not constitute a defect (e.g., slight color variation in a linen sundress due to natural fabric properties).

2. Special Summer Return Policy

For summer clothing purchases made between May 1 and August 31 (peak summer season), the return window is extended to 45 days from the original delivery date. This allows you to shop with confidence during the summer months, knowing you have extra time to try on your items, wear them in different settings (e.g., beach, backyard), and return them if they don’t suit your needs.
Additionally, for gifts purchased between June 1 and July 31 (summer gifting season, e.g., Fourth of July, birthdays), we offer a “Gift Return” option: the recipient can return the summer clothing item for a store credit (instead of a refund to the original payment method) within 45 days of delivery, even if the item was purchased by someone else. To initiate a gift return, the recipient must contact us at arcgrips@outlook.com with the order number (if available) and the reason for the return (e.g., “size too small,” “style not as expected”).
Swimwear and intimate summer clothing have a 15-day return window (extended to 30 days during peak summer season) due to hygiene concerns. All swimwear must be returned in their original packaging with the hygiene liner intact to be eligible for a refund or exchange. If the hygiene liner is removed, the item is non-returnable unless it is defective.

3. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact our customer service team at arcgrips@outlook.com to request a Return Authorization (RA) number. Please include your order number, the summer clothing item(s) you wish to return, the size of the item, and the reason for the return (e.g., “doesn’t fit,” “defective,” “not as described,” “gift return”). Providing a clear reason helps us improve our summer clothing collection and service.
  2. Once your RA number is approved, we will send you detailed instructions on how to package and ship the item(s) back to our U.S.-based warehouse. Please clearly write the RA number on the outside of the package — packages without an RA number may be rejected or delayed, as we cannot identify which order they belong to. We recommend wrapping delicate summer clothing (e.g., linen sundresses, sheer tops) carefully with tissue paper to prevent wrinkles or damage during shipping, and using a sturdy box for larger items (e.g., swimwear sets, cover-up robes).
  3. Ship the return package to the address provided by our customer service team. You are responsible for the return shipping costs, unless the item is defective or we made a mistake in your order (e.g., wrong size, wrong style, damaged during shipping). In such cases, we will provide a prepaid shipping label for your return, at no cost to you. We recommend using a shipping service that offers tracking for summer clothing returns, as lightweight items can sometimes be lost in transit.
  4. We recommend using a trackable shipping service (e.g., USPS Priority Mail with tracking) and purchasing shipping insurance for your return, especially for higher-value summer clothing items (e.g., designer-inspired sundresses, premium swimwear). We are not responsible for lost or damaged return packages — if your return package is lost or damaged in transit, we cannot issue a refund or exchange unless you have proof of delivery and shipping insurance.

4. Refund and Exchange Process

  • Once we receive and inspect your return (typically within 3-5 business days of delivery to our warehouse), we will notify you via email to confirm whether your return is approved. Our inspection process includes checking the item’s condition, verifying the RA number, ensuring all original packaging and tags are intact (unless the item is defective), and confirming the hygiene liner is intact for swimwear and intimate items.
  • Refunds: Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase (e.g., credit card, PayPal). Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to appear in your account, as processing times vary by financial institution. Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the return is due to a defective item or our error (e.g., wrong item shipped). For returns of summer clothing items purchased with a discount code or coupon, the refund will be issued for the amount paid (after the discount), not the original retail price.
  • Exchanges: If you request an exchange (e.g., different size, color, or style of a summer dress), we will ship the new item to you once we confirm the return of the original item and verify it meets our return eligibility requirements. Exchanges are subject to inventory availability — if the requested item is out of stock (common during peak summer season), we will issue a refund instead of an exchange. There is no additional shipping cost for exchanges, unless the new item has a higher price than the original item, in which case you will be responsible for the difference in price.
  • Rejected Returns: If your return does not meet the eligibility requirements (e.g., items are used, tags are missing, the RA number is not included, swimwear hygiene liner is removed, or the item is damaged due to misuse), we will notify you via email and may either send the item back to you (at your expense) or discard it (with your consent). Rejected returns are not eligible for a refund or exchange, and we will not be responsible for any costs associated with returning the item to you.

5. Defective Items

If you receive a defective summer clothing product (e.g., manufacturing defects, loose stitching, broken zippers, missing buttons, fabric tears, or items that do not meet safety standards), please contact us at arcgrips@outlook.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Provide your order number, clear photos of the defective item (showing the defect clearly, e.g., a tear in a sundress or a broken zipper on a swimsuit), and a detailed description of the issue. We take product quality very seriously, especially for summer clothing that is meant to be worn frequently in warm weather, and we will arrange for a free return (using a prepaid shipping label) and either send you a replacement item (if available) or issue a full refund (including original shipping costs). For defective items, we may also request additional photos or information to verify the defect and ensure we address the issue in our production process to prevent future problems with our summer clothing collection.

6. Return Exceptions

We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet the eligibility requirements outlined above. Items returned without an RA number or in non-original condition may be rejected or subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% of the item’s purchase price. Items that are returned but not eligible for a refund will be discarded, and we will not be responsible for their return to you. Additionally, we do not accept returns of custom or personalized summer clothing items, unless the customization is incorrect due to our error (e.g., misspelled monogram, wrong size printed on a custom t-shirt).
